Anaheim is our home floor. Our shop is ten minutes from the hall, so our own people are on site for move-in and strike, and the floor labor is arranged and supervised by us. If something needs remaking at 6am we can make it and drive it over.
Anaheim booths barely travel. They are designed, cut and built in our Anaheim shop, and for most local shows they go straight to the dock without a pre-stage leg, because the shop is the pre-stage.
Expo West and D23 fill our calendar long before they fill the hall, so the honest answer for the big Anaheim weeks is earlier than you think. Twelve to sixteen weeks for a custom island, and sooner if your show is one of the two above.
This is the cheapest city on our list to build for, because there is no freight leg and no third-party handoff. You are paying for design, fabrication and show services, not for the miles.
Yes, and Anaheim is where that work happens. Properties come back to the shop, get reworked or extended, and get stood up again before the next show. Local clients often never see the booth between shows at all.
