McCormick Place is where most Illinois exhibitors show, and we also run programs at Rosemont and Navy Pier. Whichever hall it is, the work is the same on our side and the rules are not, which is why we check them before we design rather than after.
In our shops, then stood up complete on our Las Vegas floor and crated for the trip. McCormick has particular rules about what may be handled and by whom, and crating for those rules is a decision made in our building, not on the dock.
Twelve to sixteen weeks for the build, and earlier for the big McCormick shows, which publish their move-in schedules a long way out. In Illinois the hall sets the calendar more than the booth does.
