We arrange the labor and supervise the program. McCormick Place is the largest convention center in North America and it has its own rules about who may touch what. Knowing those rules before move-in is the difference between a clean install and an expensive one.
Chicago booths are built in our shops and stood up complete in our factory before they are crated. By the time a crate reaches McCormick Place the build has already happened once, with our own people watching it.
Twelve to sixteen weeks for the build, and earlier than that for the big McCormick shows, which set their move-in schedules a long way out. The hall dictates the calendar more than the booth does.
Footprint and complexity, then labor and drayage, and in Chicago those two lines are large enough to change the design. We would rather design around them at the start than explain them afterwards.
